Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities (SFSC) is a 13 week, 2 hour group programme for any parents living in Walsall with children aged 3 to 12 years. The SFSC programme will look at developing children’s self esteem, making community connections and building relationships in a culturally respectful framework. The programmes also looks at many different positive discipline strategies. The programme has been designed by the Race Equality Foundation and is evidenced to work for many families. This programme in particular helps parents to pick and choose strategies that works for their family based on their own culture, traditions values and beliefs.
